Don Gantenbein is as reliable as they come. Every weekday, the 76-year-old Fargo resident reports for duty promptly at 6:15 a.m. as a light maintenance worker. "He is here just like clockwork," says Bev Wilson, building manager of Block 6, a five-story residential/commercial complex in downtown Fargo. Gantenbein has held the job for eight years. He enjoys staying busy and making certain entrances and common areas are in top shape. "I like what I do," says Gantenbein. "As long as I feel good, I'm going to keep going." Gantenbein is a 60-year veteran of the American work force.
